For veterinary practices
Every animal, owner and dose — accounted for.
AminoLiance for companion animal, equine and mixed practices: one record per animal with the people who answer for it, weight-based dosing, vaccines and rabies certificates, controlled-drug logs, consent forms owners sign from anywhere, and cash-pay billing — in one secure workspace.
- Owners sign free
- Data Protection Addendum with every plan
- Same plans as every practice
Kinds of veterinary practice
Companion animals
Dogs, cats and exotics — wellness visits, dentistry, surgery and chronic care.
Equine
Horses at the clinic or the barn, with the owner, trainer or agent who signs for them.
Mixed practices
Companion animals and horses in one practice, one schedule and one set of books.
Animals & owners
One record per animal, and everyone who answers for it.
The animal is the patient. Its owners, co-owners and authorized agents are your clients, linked to each animal they're responsible for, with one primary contact who receives the forms to sign and the invoices.
- Signalment at the top of every chart: species, breed, sex and reproductive status, age, color and microchip
- Households: one client with several animals, each with its own chart, forms and invoices
- Co-owners, trainers, boarding kennels and other agents, each with their role
- Search by animal, owner, phone number, client number or microchip
Clinical
Doses by weight. Vaccines on schedule.
Record the weight at every visit and AminoLiance works out mg/kg doses from it. Vaccines carry their lot, manufacturer and due date, and a rabies vaccination certificate comes straight from the record.
- Weight at every visit, with its trend, body condition and pain scores on the chart
- Weight-based doses from today's weight, recorded against the lot that was used
- Vaccines with manufacturer, lot and expiry, route and site, and the next due date
- Rabies vaccination certificates with the tag number and the veterinarian, ready to print for the owner
Controlled substances
A controlled-drug log that balances.
Drugs carry their DEA schedule. Every receipt, administration, dispense and waste of a scheduled drug is logged against its container, so the count in the cabinet and the count in the log agree.
- Schedule II–V drugs flagged in inventory, by lot and container
- Administrations tied to the animal, the veterinarian and the dose
- Waste recorded with a second team member as witness
- Logs and running balances you can export when an inspector or the board asks
Consent & e-signature
Veterinary consent forms, signed by the owner.
Start from consent forms written for veterinary medicine, or adapt them with your counsel. Owners sign in the exam room or from home: each emailed link checks the owner's ZIP code, and a one-time code sent to their email confirms the signature.
- Treatment and estimate, anesthesia and surgery, euthanasia, and extra-label or compounded drug consents
- The animal and owner filled in from the chart, so nobody retypes a name or a microchip
- Owner, co-owner or authorized agent — each signature checked against their role
- A sealed, digitally signed PDF with an audit certificate anyone can verify
Billing
Cash-pay billing, to the owner.
Invoices go to the owner, with every line tied to the animal it was for. Take payment however you do today, refund what came back to the shelf, and close the day with books your accountant can use.
- A starter veterinary fee schedule to adapt: examinations, vaccines, injections and lab work
- Invoices and receipts addressed to the owner, by email or on paper
- Payments by card terminal, cash or check; refunds that restock per unit
- Daily close, A/R aging and a P&L, exported to Excel, CSV or PDF
Form library
The consents a veterinary practice signs every week.
Typed, initialed and signed on screen — never a PDF to fill. Every published version is frozen, so a signed form always shows exactly what the owner agreed to.
- 01
Treatment and estimate
What will be done, what it should cost, and the owner's authorization to proceed.
- 02
Anesthesia and surgery
Anesthetic risks, pre-anesthetic testing, emergency authorization and how to reach the owner.
- 03
Euthanasia
The owner's request and authority, a statement that the animal has not bitten anyone recently, and how the remains are cared for.
- 04
Extra-label and compounded drugs
The owner's informed consent to a drug used outside its label or compounded for the animal.
Privacy
Not covered by HIPAA. Protected all the same.
HIPAA doesn't apply to animal records, but most state veterinary practice acts make them confidential, and your clients' names, addresses and payment details are personal information. Every veterinary plan includes our Data Protection Addendum: we process that information only to run the service for you, never sell it, and tell you promptly if anything goes wrong.
Two-factor sign-in
Unique accounts for every team member, with authenticator-app codes.
Role-based access
Veterinarians, technicians, front desk and billing each see what their job needs.
Complete audit trail
An append-only log of every change, export and view of a record.
Sealed documents
Signed consents and certificates are hashed and sealed; any change would show.
Same plans, every practice
Bring your patients, owners and books into one place.
Veterinary practices choose from the same plans, at the same per-user prices, as every other practice. Request early access and we'll be in touch to set up your team, your forms and your fee schedule.
